The New KADRIS 4 X-line Hardware Range
A unified ecosystem for Time and Attendance and Access control
We’ve refreshed the entire KADRIS 4 hardware portfolio and brought it together under the new X-line: a unified, security-enhanced ecosystem for Time and Attendance registration and access control.
At the heart of the system are identification media such as cards, key tags, and mobile identification, connecting all components into a single identity layer. The result is a more consistent, easier-to-manage, and more secure system for everyday use.
One line. One design. One system.
The X-line brings together:
- Time and Attendance terminals
- access control readers
- ID media such as cards, key tags, and the mobile app
All devices share a unified visual identity built around a modern balanced flat design. They are developed and manufactured by ČETRTA POT and work together as one integrated part of the KADRIS 4 platform.
What’s new in the X-line?
1. One unified hardware line
All KADRIS 4 hardware is now grouped under one product line, making the offering easier to understand and helping clients implement solutions more clearly and efficiently.
2. The new TX-600 Time and Attendance Terminal
The TX-600 represents the next generation of Time and Attendance terminals and fully replaces the previous TA-400 and TA-500 line.
It enables:
- event registration using a card, key tag, or phone with NFC technology
- flexible scenarios such as meals, breaks, overtime, and business trips
- secure data transfer with AES and TLS 1.3
- quick and intuitive use via a 7” touchscreen
- operation at remote locations through LAN or WiFi
More information is available in the TX-600 Time and Attendance Terminal leaflet.
3. A new generation of CMX readers
The CMX3 and CMX5 readers are designed to cover a wide range of access control scenarios. They are available with or without a keypad, support KADRIS 4 ID media, and include advanced RGB LED signaling. The CMX3 version without a keypad also supports payment card reading.
More information is available in the CMX readers leaflet.
4. A new generation of ID media
One of the most important parts of the new X-line is the KADRIS 4 identification media, which connect Time and Attendance registration and access control into one unified system.
ID media in the form of cards and key tags are based on NXP’s MIFARE technology and provide:
- reliable identification
- a high level of security
- centralized identity management
With a single card, the user can:
- register working time on the TX-600 terminal
- open doors using CMX readers
- access information systems securely and with full traceability
Each ID medium is personalized with unique security keys, helping prevent misuse and enabling centralized identity management from issuance to revocation. They are available in both basic and advanced versions, making it possible to adapt them to different security requirements, from standard business environments to critical infrastructure.
Advanced version of ID cards and key tags
The advanced version of ID cards and key tags combines physical and logical access control:
- building entry and sign-in to the information system with a single ID
- symmetric AES-256 and asymmetric ECC cryptography using a quantum-ready approach
- compliance with NIS2, CRA, and relevant security standards
- protection against modern attacks such as relay attacks
They are especially suitable for environments with the highest security requirements, including banks, insurance companies, the energy sector, industry, and public institutions of national importance.
More information is available in the KADRIS 4 identification media leaflet.
Mobile identification
The X-line also includes mobile identification, where the smartphone itself becomes the ID medium.
Using the dedicated KADRIS 4 Mobile app, developed within the KADRIS 4 ecosystem, users can securely register working time and access premises without additional cards.
More information is available on the KADRIS 4 Mobile subpage.
Why is the X-line important for clients?
The X-line is not just about a new design. It means simplification and security:
- one environment, one system, one provider
- less complexity during implementation
- unified identity management
- a higher level of security
- readiness for future regulations
For organizations digitalizing the working environment, this means a shift from fragmented solutions to an integrated, secure, and scalable system.
KADRIS 4: from Time and Attendance records to comprehensive access control
With the KADRIS 4 X-line hardware range, we are further strengthening the platform’s role as a solution that connects:
- Time and Attendance management
- HR processes
- payroll calculation
- physical and logical security
In practice, this means one platform, one infrastructure, and unified control over employees, access, and data.
