One of the many strategic roles of the HR department at Adient Slovenj Gradec d.o.o. is the responsibility for implementing, developing, and maintaining an effective, accurate, and transparent payroll model, which is exceptionally complex in our company. In the international automotive industry, we are heavily subjected to detailed reporting to our owners and are also exposed to numerous global fluctuations that require us to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. This often leads to the need for adjustments in the payroll module, which has been customized for our company. In addition to monthly payroll calculations, it also meets our owners’ needs for preparing and processing various data, calculations, and analyses required for financial projections of labor costs. These projections, in turn, can serve as a basis for further business opportunities.
Corporate expectations and continuous, complex changes in legislation led us several years ago to seek a suitable external business partner. With this partner, we have consistently met the expectations of our owners. Moreover, we have co-created an application-based, precise payroll model that is user-friendly, offers complex solutions, and simultaneously allows for objective control at the highest possible level.
Due to years of collaboration between the experts of both Adient Slovenj Gradec d.o.o. and ČETRTA POT, we were able, during the COVID-19 crisis, to quickly upgrade our payroll model. This allowed us to respond promptly to all the legislative changes brought on by the crisis. Regardless of the expertise and solutions provided by the client’s professional team or information technology, in such circumstances, communication is paramount. Above all, it is essential for the client and provider to build a strong mutual relationship, which is crucial for the successful and correct implementation of the solution.
