The Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital Kranj is primarily represented by people – our employees. Our work is directly related to the health of patients and newborns, which is why professionalism and employee engagement in performing their duties are our highest values. We are aware that employees are the heart of our organization, and therefore, we strive to retain competent colleagues and maintain good interpersonal relationships. As part of the public sector, we are dependent on national legislation in areas such as financial management and reporting, administrative processes, and human resource management. We must fully comply with the applicable regulations. The management of a public institution, characterized by complex workflows and a high volume of administrative work, must be transparent and comply with legal provisions. Therefore, when digitalizing these processes, we sought a provider who would be able to integrate everything into a unified ecosystem.
On one hand, we needed a solution that would allow us to develop and strategically manage human resources, while on the other hand, we have employees with shifts and varying work schedules who need to be appropriately assigned to workplaces and shifts. For this, we require timesheet data, which must be accurately processed for payroll. Therefore, we sought a provider who could also offer a solution for work time management and payroll calculation. Since employees use identification cards to clock in and out, our desire was to be able to use the same medium to also open doors as part of the Access Control system.
We are very pleased to have found a provider who covers all these processes. One contractual relationship covering everything from implementation and training to maintenance, upgrades, and support. Our partnership with ČETRTA POT has improved the productivity of the entire HR team, established order and efficiency among employees, and enabled transparent reporting to governmental institutions.
ČETRTA POT’s experience in implementing systems in the majority of Slovenian healthcare institutions, their prompt tracking and implementation of changes in legislation, and their adherence to security standards confirm our belief that we have chosen the right path – ČETRTA POT (which translates to “The Fourth Way” in English).
