Our company HIT has been successfully developing its tourism business with a focus on casino and entertainment services for four decades, and we have digitalized timesheet management, employee absence notifications, and technical security of premises, including Access Control, by means of KADRIS 4, which is the software and hardware system fully developed and produced by Slovenia-based company ČETRTA POT.
As we have employees assigned to specific workplaces and shifts based on certain criteria, proper planning and scheduling are crucial for us. We have successfully digitalized this process with the help of two systems – the KADRIS 4 Time and Attendance system and the WoShi artificial intelligence algorithm for automatic employee scheduling developed by Algit. We successfully integrated the two systems by means of which we have established a communication channel that allows WoShi to calculate and optimally schedule employees across days and shifts at workplaces based on predefined requirements regarding the number of people at a specific workplace and information on employee absence or presence.
Thus, there is a two-way communication between KADRIS 4 and WoShi: WoShi first reads data from the KADRIS 4 system on the knowledge, skills, qualifications, and health conditions of employees, as well as their availability (absence or presence). Based on this data, WoShi creates the optimal work schedule and assigns employees to shifts and workplaces. Once the employee is scheduled and the work schedule is confirmed, WoShi sends this data back to KADRIS 4 in the Planning and Scheduling module, from which the data on completed work and/or absences is exported for payroll calculation.
We are very satisfied that we have managed to combine the expertise of both providers, as the new integration enables even faster and more accurate employee scheduling and rostering. With this solution, we have primarily optimized the time for work planning and internal work processes, which, due to the specific nature of our industry, are very dynamic and complex.
