When Elan decided to digitize the HR processes, we were looking for a technologically advanced provider able to meet our business needs. We wanted to optimize management processes related to HR records and personnel, tracking working hours in accordance with new legislation and stricter rules, and of course, payroll calculations and payments for all employees and all types of employment contracts. This is why we were looking for a Slovenia-based provider ensuring expertise, cloud-based technological solutions, up-to-date monitoring of Slovenian legislation, GDPR compliance, and adherence to relevant ISO standards in information security and data protection in the cloud.

We chose ČETRTA POT and the KADRIS 4 product because we wanted a single provider or product offering seamlessly integrated systems with the option to be deployed in the cloud, which aligns with our long-term strategy of migrating systems to the cloud. Working with a single provider saves time during implementation, eliminates human errors when exporting and importing data between systems, ensures accurate calculations, and ultimately saves time. Another key factor in choosing ČETRTA POT was our existing time-tracking and access control system from ČETRTA POT, which Elan has been using for several years. Data on absences and presences in the workplace are crucial for preparing the monthly payroll.

We were very satisfied with the implementation process and the effort the implementation team invested into setting up the system. We benefited from expert guidance and leadership in navigating the complex system setup so that the ČETRTA POT team was able to obtain all the necessary information to implement the new system. The team was professional, quick to respond, efficient, and above all, well-versed in both fields in question (HR and payroll).

The HR and the payroll departments were heavily involved in preparing the data to populate the new system during the implementation phase. As a result, the transition to the new system was easier than expected. Since the HR system was implemented first, I can say that, despite the multitude of new features, we have already become confident users of the new system. The payroll system is relatively new to us, and we are still cautiously getting familiar with its new features, but we can absolutely say that many things have been simplified, which will save us a lot of time when preparing monthly payroll calculations in the future.
